Our Safety, Health & Environment team make Vistry

It takes a special group of hardworking people to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of our people, our supply chain and whoever may be affected by our business. It’s certainly a responsibility but it’s one we welcome. We’re more than a support function to the business, we do all we can to protect the environment, too.

What we do

Our Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Team provide advice, guidance and coaching. We touch all parts of our operations and strive for high standards. For us, it’s all about ‘Doing the Right Thing’ and acting with integrity, being caring and delivering quality to our employees, customers, shareholders and the wider society. Sometimes doing the right thing looks like undertaking support visits and inspections of our projects, other times it’s delivering training and briefings, or contributing to our SHE Management System. From greenfield traditional housing developments to high-rise city centre apartment towers, we experience it all.
How we work

We get to enjoy flexible working from home, in the office and on-site thanks to the Group’s agile working policy. We manage our own time and travel when needed, with a company car/allowance and accommodation provided depending on our roles. Our way of working works for us. We get to work closely with our operating business units, their projects and offices, and other Vistry Services teams. We’re known as the conscience of the business because we work independently and report directly to the Executive Leadership Team. Keeping all this in mind, we genuinely experience a good work-life balance, and you will too.
