Meet Lisa

My main duties are managing the dairies for the two Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members I work directly for, together with covering for the main CEO & COO’s PA when on leave etc. My role is fast paced, interesting, challenging at times having to juggle commitments and, also very demanding. I must be professional, diplomatic, and totally confidential in everything I do. I am also very mindful that I am an ambassador to both the company and the people I represent in the company, so I take my role seriously. I also have to have the ability to be flexible and reactive, and generally just make things happen, getting the right people at the right time in the right place!

I joined Bovis (as it was) in October 2014 and have always worked for Keith Carnegie. As Keith’s role has evolved, I have also adapted with him. I have worked for Earl since March 2020 just as Vistry was formed. Previously, aside form working directly to Keith and Earl, I have also provided PA assistance to two other directors and supported numerous others along the way!

The people. From top down, bottom up everyone is lovely and very supportive. The ELT are committed to the staff, and it has a real family feel.

I started my role as a Divisional PA and over time I have just evolved to become an Executive PA.

Playing a key part in the organising of the first joint Vistry Leadership & Awards Event in March 2022. This was the first time since 2020 when Vistry was formed that some colleagues had ever met face-to-face. It was a huge undertaking ensuring that all 320 people had an enjoyable experience, and I organised this alongside my ‘day job’. For it to be such a success was a massive relief and a great testament to how well we all worked as ‘One Vistry’.

Initially it was a change in job circumstances that made me choose to join the company. However, I knew straight away that the company had a nice feel to it and that it was going to be a good place to work.

They must be committed to working as a team, to be open to each other’s views and they also need a positive can-do attitude.

The company are brilliant to work for. They genuinely care for their staff, and they really do want to build a ‘home’. Also, be prepared to accept and embrace change. The company are very supportive of their staff’s wellbeing and understand that staff have outside commitments, so they appreciate that there is more to life than just work. The agile working policy has been a great success in supporting this, alongside the ability for staff to undertake voluntary work and they recognise the benefits this has to all.
