We have a big role to play in acting on the right priorities at the right time; we support and enable data-driven decision-making.

In Treasury, we manage the Group’s external banking facilities, ensure funds flow and are responsible for cash forecasting and assisting the CFO in managing the Group’s gearing.

Business Systems is a project-based team, and we focus on rolling out a common ERP for the Group (COINS) – we’ve delivered enhanced forecasting and budgeting capability through Anaplan.

Finance Reporting is all about meeting the Group’s external reporting requirements, consolidating the Group’s results and managing the relationship with the Group’s external auditors. We’re also responsible for the Accounts Payable team, ensuring that Group invoices are processed accurately, and that payment runs go to the published schedule.

In Planning and Analysis, we deliver the performance management framework for the Group by managing the strategic planning, annual budgeting and monthly actuals and forecasting processes, including producing half-year and full-year forecasts of profits, revenues, and capital spend. We manage costs for Vistry Services functions and associated recharges to business units, including supporting Vistry Services department heads to monitor spend against forecast and budget and ensuring that spend is well controlled and reported so that the Group achieves its targets.

We have a hybrid model. We love being in the office together, but when we aren’t, we work effectively from home or other locations. We’re responsible for tax compliance, data quality checks and making all necessary tax payments by their due dates. We add value to the business by working with the wider Group to ensure this compliance – we also offer solutions for structure transactions that will benefit the business. We’re involved with commercial bids and proposals, contract reviews and negotiations, legislative changes that require ERP system and process changes (DRC, MTD, IR35), digital transformation/tax technology implementation and process improvements (RPA, VAT Tech, Alteryx) and ad hoc queries. We’re passionate about giving tax advice and due diligence for acquisitions and the creation of new entities in the Group.
