Working in Technical

We take care of all aspects of housebuilding from land acquisition through to when we hand over to management companies. It’s our job to carry out initial assessments of sites and take responsibility for planning applications and their management. We produce all drawing information, look at new services, detail, design and produce working drawings for the homes and provide procurement information for outdoor areas including community facilities and orchards. We also procure Archaeology, Ecology and Arboriculture. We work alongside the construction team, customer service and sales to answer queries and manage the transfers to local council/management companies. We also manage stakeholder communication with local user groups and interested third parties.

One day we’re working with local stakeholders, the next we’re working on projects of 80 to 800 homes – that’s not to mention everything we work on in between. We have an excellent working environment, and we feel like our needs are really understood by the Group. We’re able to work flexibly; you’ll find us in the office three times a week. Site visits are a key part of what we do and when we need to work from home, we can do.

All our partnerships have contract, budget, programme and value requirements. We make sure the project can move forward at every stage in line with the programme and expectations. We get to work on medium to high-rise regeneration projects on brownfield sites in London. These can be Contracting projects (where we work for a third-party client) or development opportunities where Vistry Group have purchased the land.

Our projects are challenging and rewarding, and due to this, we work in a fast-paced but supportive environment. No two days are the same, but we like the variety that is on offer.
